SHAHAR & SHLOMI

Tragedy of 7/10 at the Heart of the kibbutz Holit

In the heart of Kibbutz Holit, Shahar Debbie Troen Mathias and her husband, Shlomi Mathias, met a tragic end in a brutal terrorist attack in the Gaza Strip. Defending their youngest son Rotem with fierce courage, they were taken from us too soon. They leave behind not only three heartbroken children—Shir, Shakked and Rotem—but also a community engulfed in profound grief and sorrow.

Harmony in Life and Love

Shahar and Shlomi Matthias were not only partners in life but also in their passions—education and music. Shlomi, an accomplished musician, pianist, arranger, and educator, found his perfect counterpart in Shahar, a talented singer, song writer and composer. Their union was a testament to love and mutual support. In a heartfelt note from September 2020, Shlomi expressed his enduring love: "For 20 years, I've proudly called you my wife, my partner, my heart... Together, we've grown wiser and stronger, loving more deeply as we built our life, raised our children, and shared our music. You are my everything—through every high and low, I choose you, always and forever."

Echoes of Harmony

Throughout her life, Shahar wrote, composed and performed many songs. In recent years, she even started working on an album of her original and unique music. Her friends and families decided to continue the process she started, with Shlomi by her side, and to ensure that Shahar and her work find their place in the world.

The success of the project requires your support, to raise the necessary funds to cover costs: 50,000 NIS to complete the recordings, use of advanced technological means to improve service sound, mixing and mastering. And another 50,000 NIS for marketing, distribution, PR, packaging clips and graphics. A total amount of 100,000 NIS.

All future proceeds from the album will directly benefit Shir, Shakked and Rotem, providing a lasting legacy for the children who tragically lost their parents in the heartbreaking events of 7/10.
